As the famous astronomer Stephen Hawking tells us, we are
formed of the same chemical elements as all of the natural material in our
universe, originating billions of years ago in the stars. Departing from this
concept of material unity, “New Oracles” is an exploration of nature, the
creation of life, identity, and human being’s intrinsic relationship with the
natural world.
Masks are made from natural materials found in the locations where the images are taken.
